Mobile communication and traveller safety and securityUsing GETS, travel related information can be sent directly to your traveller’s mobile device, allowing communication where ever they may be.
The tool also combines information from your travel bookings and travel policy with real time security advice from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The GETS reporting module is accessible through the Travelforce website and allows the user to see where their employees are currently located or where they're planning on travelling to.
GETS automatically processes bookings as they are created or amended in our reservation system and monitors changes in the threat levels of destinations to be visited. If a booking is made to a country with a threat level greater than what the company deems to be safe, an automatic email alert will be generated. In addition, if a threat level is upgraded for a destination an email alert can be generated automatically for all travellers who are booked to travel to that destination.
In the event that travel has already commenced or is due to commence within 24 hours an SMS message will also be sent automatically to all mobile contact numbers stored in the booking.
